Thematic lectures pursue the goal of putting executives, employees and customers mentally on a new track by deliberately placed impulses. As the Magazine “TOP 100 Excellent Speakers” quotes: Rainer Niermeyer is a stirring speaker, who shares his knowledge in a tangible and entertaining way. A wide range of practice examples depict Niermeyer’s theses involving the participants into a suspensful presentation. Highly detailed preparations with the client make every keynote lecture a customized event with profound impacts.
(Lectures held in: German and English)
An outline of the lectures
“Companies are obliged to adjust their structures at a constantly accelerating speed, in order to succeed in the market. Employees must come to terms with the fact of being constantly confronted with incisive changes. These are the opening lines of Rainer Niermeyer’s book about “Staff Motivation in Change Management”. How to convince initially skeptical employees of a new strategy and how former dogmatists become firm supporters for embarking on unfamiliar paths: this pathway is systematically presented in the lecture “Prosperous Change Management”.
If you sit back and wait to be motivated by your principal you will often wait in vain. However, you have the upper hand, if you are able to draw the motivation from yourself, thus become independent from the others. The conversion from being a victim to a creator leads to absolute personal responsibility. The invitation to leaders in this game is: Create a playing field on which the staff feels inspired to motivate him or herself! As long as the eight rules for an “ideal playing field” are observed, the (personal) motivation is no problem. And retention of the best will become the recipe for success.
“Be yourself and you will be able to resolve everything”, goes the regularly applied “platitude” in human resources development. The reality is quite a different story: Too often the careless expression of internal sensitivities drives you into seclusion: you virtually “drop out of your role”. You are successful however, if you master the rules of social role plays on the corporate stages – as well as in private life. The provoking lecture demonstrates how this role play will work with joy - and without losing your identity. The corresponding book has been published by Campus.
The book “Soft Skills – The Training Program”, published by Haufe Verlag, describes nine key competences for success (empathy, networking, negotiation skills, etc.) in detail. This lecture portrays these skills vividly and conveys easy-to-learn exercises that can be trained in your daily life and occupation. According to the saying: “Success is based on 20% IQ and 80% EQ” the emotional element of intelligence becomes transfer-oriented and is trained with a lasting effect.
"Only those who are able to lead themselves, will be able to lead others." The basic tool of managers and employees is to successfully deal with yourself and your own thought patterns. We often find ourselves in negative brooding loops and get lost in details. The alleged reality is then interpreted to our detriment. How do we maintain the bird's eye view and how do we control our thoughts to prevail? The lecture conveys tangible ways to successful self-management.
